Final Fantasy 14 is not published on the Xbox Game Pass

The producer / director Naoki Yoshida says this is at his paid subscription model.

Microsoft has beaten waves last year when it announced that a series of final fantasy games would come to Xbox Game Pass. Later, Xbox boss Phil Spencer said that the MMORPG Final Fantasy 14 would come to Xbox One. What is the current standing?

According to producer and director Naoki Yoshida talking to TwinFinite you should not expect it to be seen on Game Pass. I have not really thought about publishing something FF14 on Game Pass. That s because FF14 itself is a subscription model game. So it would be unfair to current PC and PS4 players who pay monthly to enjoy the game.

Apart from that, Yoshida remarked that Phil Spencer is very committed in his support for the game. Phil is very committed in his support for FF14 and I really appreciate his efforts. I hope Phil and I have a shoulder of a shoulder and can create an opportunity for players around the world to enjoy them FF14 even more.

Final Fantasy 14 saw the publication of his third major enlargement, schattenbringer , last year with strong critical recognition (several proclaimed it as the currently best final fantasy history). In December 2019, the MMO has overtaken more than 18 million players and published important updates such as Echoes of A Fallen Star , which continues history. It may take a while until Xbox One appears. Further information is available in the coming months.
