PUBG: Playable for a short time free - will free 2 play

PUBG recently recaptured from marketing purposes in PubG: Battlegrounds and thus to be exactly Playerunknown's Battlegrounds: Battlegrounds is called, has been sampled on steam for free since yesterday. In the shooter, 100 players jump over an island and then fight until only one of them has left. The whole thing can be played both alone as well as in teams and is considered one of the first commercial implementations of the Battle-Royale Genre. It has already been speculated in the past more often that the player's shape could move to such a model. Developer Studio Bluehole wants to use the trial as a test run and then make the shooter in a positive resonance permanently free2play. However, this was not confirmed by official source.

As early as 2019, there were accordingly plans, but the conversion was not completed due to overwhelming rejection from the community in the end.

With the supposed trial phase, a collaboration with the K-Pop group Blackpink goes hand in hand, in which it should give unique items and costumes. The action has been running since the beginning of August and should last until the end of the year. From 18 August, an Ingame Event should also be launched in which special tasks must be met in order to unlock exclusive content with blackpink branding.
