After several recently known rumors, further evidence of a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Developer Virtuos Games have demonstrably worked on a corresponding project.
The rumor kitchen boils again, and Konami stirs the pot on guesses. In recent weeks and months, stubborn rumors went around, Konami would want to bring back their own largest franchises. Source of the rumors are information from anonymous source, which received the video game magazine VGC according to own information.
According to these clues, Konami work on a new Castlevania game and would want to implement several Silent Hill projects together with other studios. Likewise, a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater in the planning phase. It is unclear whether the first two parts still receive a remake before MGS3.
New reference to Metal-Gear-Solid-3-Remake
Vot the information from the anonymous sources, the MGS3 remake is not developed by Konami, but in Virtuosos Games. On Twitter, a fan has now shared the part of a linkedin profile, which will be clear that Virtuos Games actually worked on an AAA remake :
According to the screenshot, Virtuoso Games worked on a unannounced AAA-action adventure remake, which would bring together with the previous information. However, the information about the Lead Software Designer relates to a period from 2018 to 2019. Which project was meant there, so it can not be said certainly. In the end, it remains rumors.
Even if the information is right, that does not mean, new silent-hill games or a MGS3 remake are safe: no matter what phase of development is the games, the projects can still be set over time.
